A figment spell creates a false sensation. Those who perceive the figment perceive the same thing, not their own slightly different versions of the figment. It is not a personalized mental impression.

A figment may be created anywhere within your maximum illusion range without need of line of sight nor line of effect and may be moved, directed or have its appearance altered after creation as a standard action or as part of the action to maintain via concentration.

Figments can be moved at a speed of 20 ft. + 5 ft. per 5 caster levels per round and must remain within maximum illusion range. You still need to be able to see the figment to issue new orders, direct movement, or alter how it appears.

If a figment is penetrated by a physical object it disappears with an audible pop. Figments with a duration are permanently disrupted, while permanent figments will reappear after 1 round, unless this would cause it to intersect with a physical object or creature (in which case they will reappear one round after the area is cleared of obstacles).

Figments without a visual component (such as purely audible figments) will still have an invisible magical emanator, about 1 foot in diameter, which if penetrated causes the figment to collapse in the same way. This emanator can be seen with True Seeing or other divination that allows magical auras to be seen.

If a character would interact with your figment in such a way that it might cause undesired side effects if the figment was actually real, they must make a Will saving throw against the school's DC. Example's could be: running full tilt into an illusory wall, walking through illusory fire, shooting an illusory civilian, or putting your sword through an illusory expensive-looking tapestry.
