17th of Remembrance
- The group gathered information in both hamlets belonging to the De Vos manor
- They learned that he over-taxes his people and "borrow" their daughters
- They then visited De Vos manor
- Mike ingratiated himself with Remmelt Van De Vos
- The rest of the group gathered info from his servants
- De Vos was a boring man focused on efficiency and uncaring about human suffering
- He was also part of a conspiracy with Ditmer Van Der Veen and other nobles to topple the Prince
- Mike got a confession by confronting him and pretending to be an agent of the Prince
18th of Remembrance
- The group went to the Der Welde Manor
- They talked with his wife since her husband is away in the expedition against the goblins
- She was unwilling to move openly against De Vos, but encouraged them to take their evidence to the Prince
- The group journeyed back west, and spent the night at De Wit manor.
- De Wit rebuked Mike's advances
19th of Remembrance - afternoon
- Group got back to Toulin
- Had trouble getting into the city with ill fortune at every corner
- Found Professor Gallian camped outside their HQ
- He wanted them to aid him in defeating his curse by journeying to a temple in the Dragondeep Forest
- However, his luck seemed to be countering all attempts to do so
- Though the group resisted getting involved, in the end he hired them with diamond
- The quest was to not give him any information they might find at the temple in the Dragondeep Forest
- He seemed to believe this might somehow help, though he also seemed unconcerned whether he might be wasting the diamond
