On the 3rd of Books the group hired 20 mercenaries + Remi the Siege Mage.
4th-9th of Books
The group travelled alongside a Van Der Ley caravan to the ruined tower where the bandits hang out.
– Party met a group of mercenaries that returned from a patrol in the forest north of the quarry where they had been ambushed by goblins (originally 20, now 12 walking wounded and 3 being carried). The mercenaries needed to report back to “the boss”.
– While camping with the caravan at (0162, -0124) a charlatan stole some of the caravan’s goods in the night and fled south towards Toulin.
9th of Books
Bob lead the group so that they could attack the tower of the bandits from behind without being noticed.
Bob dropped on the watch-people at the top of the tower, while Remi and the rest of the mercenaries moved up.
Remi created a hole into the tower through which the mercenaries poured, killing the surprised bandits with hardly any trouble. Some of the Blackguards got killed, and one of the Armsmen was heavily wounded.
As Bob moved from the top of the tower into the tower proper, he ran into Cain, the leader of the bandits who proceeded to murder him.
Cain then went on to murder a number of the Blackguards before he was brought down by a combined effort from Irven, the peasant archers and a final blow from Quiet Rob with his duffle bag.
The wounded Armsman ended up dying, while Bob was saved thanks to two healing potions poured into him by Mike.
One bandit managed to flee the tower, but the peasant archers followed him and took him out.
10th of Books
The dead mercs were buried, but the bandits were left to rot.
The three remaining armsmen got a chart and two horses to bring their dead brother north to Riverhaven.
The rest of the group started journeying south back to Toulin.
Left behind 400 lbs. nickel in 2 boxes (20 gp each)
Session ended just before they left.

- 10 light work horses (120 gp each), 4 heavy work horses (240 gp each), 2 carts (500 lbs. capacity), 700 lbs. horsefeed (3.5 gp or 5 days worth for all the horses)
- Found Lesxana’s Diary and Workbook (with a Scribing Pen inside the workbook)
