16-21st of Books - Sale of loot and training in Toulin

• The party spent a week selling the loot gathered from the bandit tower, and Irven, Bub and Mike trained to increase their powers (leveling up).
  • Mike did an excellent job, navigating the merchant houses of the city to gain the best prices.
  • From the horse seller at Empire Gate, they traded in their horses and 300 gp for 5 rounceys (common riding horses).
  • At Kartes Magical Emporium they bought more health potions, and was told of the back room available to those with more money.
• They also checked out the bounty board at the Cup of Power, and picked a job to escort Professor Gallia Leontius to the Black Zigurath of Jormungarth.

22nd-23rd of Books - Journey to the Black Zigurath of Jormungarth

• Travelling with Gallia it quickly became apparent that he was quite lucky, while the party was quite unlucky in his presence.
  • Gallia told them how he had been banished from the University of Heigen due to "office politics". Where his opponents had claimed it was his fault that a building collapsed with multiple casualties. And how his parents died shortly after his birth leaving him with an inheritance.
  • Wodlow tried to snoop around his tent and steal a chest, but bad luck prevented him from removing anything, and he didn't notice anything interesting in the tent either.
  • Mike suggested that they give up on the mission, after Gallia admitted that many of his previous body guards had died because "Dungeons are dangerous places. That is why I need body guards." But the rest of the group wanted to carry on.
• On the 23rd they reached eye-sight of the Zigurath. Mike managed to convince Gallia to stay in camp while the party ensured the Zigurath was safe. The party's luck improved immediately once they got out of his presence.

23rd of Books, shortly before noon - Beginning exploration of the Zigurath

• The group climbed the zigurath, following a trail forged by previous explorers.
• Inside the entrance they found a trap, and spent a bit of time figuring out that there was a safe route past it.
• Session ended after exploring a bit of corridor and an empty room.
