2nd of Books
Group met at the Cup of Power in front of the bounty board and decided to group up. Mike Starrrr set up a performance at the inn for the same evening, in exchange for room and board.
Group took at job from Sinma Van Der Ley to examine the House Railen merchant compound for clues about the bandits raiding the caravans from Toulin.
Her caravans have been raided regularly by bandits when traveling to the Principality of Thiel,
The only caravans untouched by the bandits is belonging to House Railen
The group need to raid the warehouse and office of the Railen merchant house to find proof.
She has convinced the city guard to look the other way, as long as there is no major disturbance
If practical, avoid to kill anyone, or the city guard might be unhappy
With evidence she hoped to be able to convince Toulin’s army to move against them.
The group decided to visit the compound the same afternoon. Mike Starrrr set up an impromptu performance on the street, drawing in a crowd, and drawing in the guards from the compound. Irven and Wodlow snuck inside. Irven found some good stuff, but Wodlow (with a distraction from Al) snuck all the way into the compounds office and found paydirt, in the form of a letter tying the leader of the compound directly to the bandits.
Wodlow also absconded with the office’s money chest.
The group delivered the information to Sinma, who payed them the agreed bounty (300 gp) and told them there might be more work in the future.
Mike Starrrr played that night at the Cup of Power, and it was a great success. Wodlow got blackout drunk. Mike and Al slept in one of the suites (payment for Mike’s performance), while Irven paid for a single room, and Wodlow slept in the common sleeping quarters.
3rd of Books
Next morning the word on the street was that the Railen compound had been attacked, and basically anyone of importance had been killed. This was unfortunate for Sinma, since she had told the city guard to stay away from the place. Both Lute and Aarnt mentioned in the letter Wodlow found had been killed.
Sinma contacted them for another job. The army had not wanted to move against the bandits, despite her evidence. She would give them 500 gp up front to hire some men and make sure the bandits would never be a problem again.

- 300 gp from Sinma bounty for letter (has been divided)
- Money Chest: 40 sp, 56 gp and 1150 gp worth of bank notes (14x 50 gp, 2x 100gp, 1x 250 gp)
- 500 gp money purse from Sinma as payment and funding for clearing out bandits.
